Mitsubishi Xpander 2019 - Specifications, Acceleration, Top Speed & Fuel Consumption
AutoCatch | Automotive Review - Mitsubishi Xpander is one of the products of Mitsubishi Motors type MPV 7 passengers designed and manufactured in Indonesia. This car was first introduced on July 24, 2017 in Jakarta, and then officially launched on August 10, 2017 at the annual automotive product exhibition, Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition BSD, South Tangerang. This car is available in 7 variants namely GLX Manual, GLS Manual, GLS Automatic, Exceed Automatic, Sport Manual, Sport Automatic, Ultimate.
Mitsubishi Xpander has a unique and revolutionary design that is capable of becoming an MPV Indonesia Trendsetter. This was evident after its appearance, Mitsubishi Xpander's sales rating was immediately so high that it forced its competitors to immediately improve. There are even some competitors who then slightly imitate the nuances of the curve that this car has.
EXTERIOR, INTERIOR AND SAFETY FEATURES
It didn't take long for Mitsubishi Xpander to be able to seize public attention from the very beginning. Proven by wholesales, this car is very in demand and can quickly catch up with the leader of the low MPV market, which in recent years has always been held by the Toyota Avanza. And it is possible that in the near future Mitsubishi Xpander will take over the top position in the sales of Indonesia's low MPV class.
The success achieved by the Mitsubishi Xpander is of course thanks to its unique, dynamic and futuristic exterior design. Because it is undeniable that this is what most concerns the public today. However, the interior and safety features of this car also play an important role in an effort to win the hearts of consumers. Because Mitsubishi certainly does not want to disappoint its customers. A spacious cabin space, soft suspension and nice cabin silence are some of the most prominent advantages of this car.
Turning to features and safety, like other low MPV low-cost cars, there are several trimmed features. But that does not mean the car is poor in features and not safe. Mitsubishi Xpander is one of the low MPV cars that are feature-rich and have a sufficient safety system. Evident from the results of safety testing, Mitsubishi Xpander was able to reach four stars in terms of safety from the independent testing agency, ASEAN NCAP. This is a pretty good result, although the value obtained is not much different from its class rivals, the Toyota Avanza which also won four stars.
Mitsubishi Xpander is also claimed to have the best suspension in its class. Soft suspension supported by high ground clearance makes this car able to explore in all fields but still comfortable with smooth swings. But there is an assumption that the soft suspension causes reduced vehicle stability, especially when driven at high speed. Don't worry about this, because the Mitsubishi Xpander has used Shock Absorber Valve technology on each front and rear wheel. This technology was developed specifically with the Quick Response system to minimize the symptoms of giddiness due to soft suspension. So even though this car is soft, but in terms of stability the car is still fairly good.

ACCELERATION, TOP SPEED & FUEL CONSUMPTION
Here we include valid data from various test results regarding the Acceleration, Maximum Speed and Fuel Consumption of Mitsubishi Xpander:- Acceleration 0-100 km / h completed in 13.8 seconds
- Maximum speed / top speed: 170 km / hour
- Fuel consumption in the city is 12 km / liter (for testing with an average speed of 22 km / h), but for standard use around 10.5 km / liter
- The fuel consumption outside the city / toll road is recorded at 19.8 km / liter (for testing with an average speed of 90 km / hour), for standard use around 14.5 km / liter
Note:
- These results can vary according to road conditions, road flatness, number of passengers and rhythms between the footing of the accelerator pedal and gear changes. But at least this can be used as an approximate approach that is almost accurate.
Seems like honda city 2019's sales rating is better.
